Biography:

Ailsa Haxell works in the tertiary sector in the vocational preparation of people working in the health sector. Her interest in web-enhanced learning comes from what at first seemed to be a counterintuitive approach to the platform; the teaching of interpersonal skills. She has had a promiscuous disregard for boundaries and in crossing multiple communities of practice have been able to pick up, alter, and adapt, ideas and applications. Ailsa's formal studies continue with study for a Doctorate through Deakin University, with the working title of 'Teaching and Learning Issues of Heart and Soul using IT'.
