Title of session:

Pedagogical change: time to pull your head out of the sand

Description:

eLearning has its share of hype. Many believe that educational technology only provides us with a larger tool set for delivering education within traditional educational environments. In this session we will take a look at the effect technology is having on the constraints that have shaped our institutions. A case that pedagogical change is inevitable is predicated on this perspective. Using an interactive presentation format, there will be a brief presentation, followed by an opportunity to discuss the myths associated with eLearning. A fun session that explores some really important issues.
