Description:

Lyn will briefly share her learning from her FLLinNZ project, and raise some issues for discussion related to 'learning design' as an emerging concept - what does this mean for how we approach teaching and learning.

In addition, Lyn is interested in establishing the foundations of a community of practice for those in Educational/Learning Designer roles.

Biography:

Lyn is an Educational Designer for the Faculty of Education, university of Auckland. She has used her 2004/2005 FLLinNZ scholarship to investigate Learning Design - the models and processes associated with high quality, and the roles and relationships of staff in similar positions.
