Title of session:

The eLearning game-winning over reluctant staff

Description:

The eLearning Game was developed as a resource to highlight opportunities for staff reluctant to use online tools. It was originally designed as a paper based board game to present the concept of e-learning to section managers/leaders. The game accompanies a presentation discussing a number of different types of online tools and levels of e-learning interaction, such as using discussion forums and group tools. It allows individuals to consider difficulties in their teaching and match them to e-learning solutions. Instead of being confronted and often intimidated with the concept of 'e-learning' or 'online learning', the emphasis is on discussing and demonstrating tools to help tutors communicate and interact with their students.
