Biography:

Selena has been teaching baking apprentices at CPIT since 1980. Her interest in improving learning opportunities for workplace based apprentices has led to a long journey in increasing her own learning about how young people learn a trade and become trade practitioners.  She has completed various tertiary qualifications in education (including the TANZ Graduate Diploma in applied e-Learning) and is at present in the middle of working towards a PhD with Griffith University.  e-Learning has been another pathway to improve delivery of content and support to apprentice learners. Her reflections on m-Learning and its development for apprentice learners are archived on mportfolios.blogspot.com.
