Title of session:

Social innovation in mobile learners

Category:

Conversation

Description:

How will students use the new tools of multimedia mobile phones connected to Learning Management Systems? Will they study better, worse, or simply differently? Will freedom learning become accepted or will it be branded as plain bunking off? Will kinesthetic learners be advantaged as they dance in the knowledge in the skate parks, and will business men salvage wasted time in crawling traffic by studying for their MBA? Steve has got a 3G phone connected to elements of Moodle, that's one thing, but how will people use these things once they become widespread? Steve is studying online with University of Liverpool for his Master Degree in Information Science (Software Engineering) and this conversation session will help seed his research question.
