Title of session:

Networked education

Category:

Conversation

Description:

The e-Learning Networked Education Pilot will research and develop a network based strategy to achieve more co-operative and strategic implementation of e-Learning courses across multiple TEOs. Students, enrolled at their regional polytechnic, may supplement their programme with access to e-Learning based delivery from another institution via an online networked environment. This conversation will explore the challenges of moving to an e-Learning network of provision. Topics within the conversation include: Organisational issues?  How do you structure networked education? The pros and cons of distributed vs centralised? Thinking outside the square. What's possible with networked education? A role play may be used to encourage participation during the conversation - e.g. some people will be tutors, some students, some CEOs.
