Adoption of ICT tools in the classroom

Presenter: Pablo Garcia
Role:

Director

Organisation:

Manzana

Category:

Presentation

Description:

Smartboards and wireless slates provide flexible and easy computer access in any class setting.  By working on a shared surface, teachers can open and retrieve any computer based documents (eg images, whiteboard pages, presentations, web pages and videos), annotate directly onto these, and save all session activities for later student access.
Class response systems employ hand-held “clickers” so students can respond to class questions and view group responses on a shared screen.  Software allows teachers to evaluate student and class performance continuously as well as assess course outcomes longitudinally.  Manzana represents e-Instruction, the world’s pioneer and education sector leader in class response systems.
