Steve McConnell is a software engineer with several popular titles to his name including the Software Project Survival Guide. eLearning projects are often a course development and a software engineering project running hand in hand creating huge risk. McConnell lists 36 Classic Mistakes relating to people, process, product and technology.

Biography:

Stephen Lowe first engaged with e-learning while working towards his Diploma in Teaching (Tertiary) which he gained in 2004. He has since worked on both successful and disastrously unsuccessful e-learning developments. Stephen is now studying online for an MSc in Software Engineering at University of Liverpool in the UK. He runs a company that offers consultancy, associated services and QA to corporations who want to move their training effort online.

Audience

People who have managed, co-ordinated, or otherwise worked on, or expect to be working on eLearning developments. McConnell takes a very human approach which is easy to relate to.
